*WINNER WINNER…Chicken Dinner*

I am so proud of Wiktor.

He won his fight today at the Martial Combat event in Singapore. Wiktor has now improved his professional MMA record to 2-0, both wins via Submission.

Wiktor was originally suppose to face Chang Koo Lee–an opponent I beat via Triangle Submission last year for Neofight…however a torn ACL forced him to accept another opponent who eventually was forced to withdrawal due to an injury as well.

Accepting his third opponent on less than 10 days notice–Wiktor faced a veteran of 5 fights who has fought in Korea, Japan, and Russia.

Needless to say—it only took Wiktor 30 seconds to earn the victory this time.  Locking in the Guillotine choke…Wiktor cleverly squeezed until his opponent passed out–unconscious from lack of sufficient oxygen.  It was an impressive performance-beating an M-1 Global Challenge and HEAT FC veteran.  Hats off to the Korean fighter, who chose to “Nap” instead of “Tap”.

Tomorrow Wiktor will be helping coach, along with teammate Andreas Hesselback as our Thai fighter–turned MMA superstar Ngoo Ditty will be facing an undefeated Filipino sensation.

*I don’t have “3g” connection set up on my Iphone here in Singapore…so I’m unable to update my blog via the phone–which is why the posts have been a lil’ infrequent since arriving here.

Also competing on the Martial Combat card–was Thailand’s Ole Laursen, owner of the Legacy Gym in Ubon Thailand.

Ole –and Legacy Gym are close friends of Tiger Muay Thai, and it was great to see him compete.  A veteran of over 80 Muay Thai fights, Ole is a relative newcomer to the sport of MMA with a 2-2 record.  Two wins in the Art Of War FC (China) and two losses against top MMA fighters Genki Sudo and Caol Uno have made it difficult for him to find opponents.  Facing Edu Pachu from Evolve Singapore tonight…he had a tough fight on his hands.

Losing the first two rounds–Ole kept his composure and stuck to the game plan.  Landing several NASTY LEG KICKS, it became obvious that the Evolve fighter was desperate to keep the fight on the mat.  Sprawling hard on a double leg attempt, Ole quickly transitioned to the back–and secured the RNC victory–earning him this beautiful Superfight belt. (I’m fighting for one of these belts in July) CONGRATS TO OLE AND WIKTOR…Ngoo Ditty will be fighting tomorrow…
