Why did they stop making…

Music like this?  Seriously…what happened to “Motown?”–why did they stop making music that spoke to a person?

Jackie Wilson, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, Jackson 5, The Temptations, Gladys Knight, the list goes on-and on.

Sure “Motown” is still around…but can you really compare Lindsay Lohan, and Nick Cannon to the greats listed above?!…I have to give them props for still having Eryka Badu and India Arie however, the music the “New Motown” puts out doesn’t come close to the real heart and soul they produced in the 60’s and 70’s.

The thing that made their music so special was that it spoke to you no matter where you were in life, during a time in American History where lines were divided by color, Motown played an important role in racial integration of popular music.
