Video from my Nogi seminar in Singapore

Hard to believe it has already been 4 weeks since my MMA seminar at Fight Works Asia.  It was a good turn out with several of the local Singaporean grapplers showing up to take in some new techniques.  Besides the local fighters, the turnout also saw K-1 Max star Ole Laursen and UFC ref’s Steve Purcivelle (BJJ Black Belt) and John Sharpe attend.

We went over the correct way to sprawl–emphasis on the “Shoelaces down” theory.  After covering the sprawl, I showed a few ways to rotate around the body, and then some attacks when your opponent is in the turtle position.  The seminar gave me a good opportunity to get in a few rolls with new grapplers while I was in town working as Color Commentator for ESPN.
