Up…Up…and Away!!!

I had to Laugh when I saw the Thai’s running this “ride” at the beach the other day. They start off by attaching you to a parachute.  The parachute is then connected to a speed boat that pulls you into the air.

While “YOU” are attached to the parachute…a Thai runs along behind you, climbing onto the parachute…without being attached. The boat flies across the ocean bringing you higher—and higher–…and higher. When it is time to “float” back to Earth—the Thai who climbed onto the back of your parachute…(without being attached)…hangs off of several cords…causing the “air” to deflate from your parachute sail and bring you down.

…I’m sure they are professionals and all…but I wonder how safe this “ride” really is?!—how many Thai’s got an “itch” while hanging on to the cables and have fallen?!

…This ride is 1,200THB…but I suspect you could bargain down a bit if your were good at negotiating.
