Trevor Hicks faces undefeated Korean Top Team fighter, losing tough decision in pro debut

Congratulations to Trevor on making it three rounds against a very tough Korean Top Team fighter in his professional MMA debut in Guam.

Traveling to the USA territory–Trevor faced undefeated Korean fighter Do Hwan Kim. Competing above his natural weight class–Trevor fought at 205lbs. Primarily a wrestler, Hicks faced a tough Korean who was able to maintain to control throughout the 15 minute bout–securing mount and side control several times during the fight.

Having Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt and 6-1 professional MMA fighter Jason Saggo in his corner—Hicks was able to maintain composure and work out of several difficult positions—showcasing his heart as a fighter.

Returning back to Phuket this weekend—expect Hicks to get back into the ring–most likely with a couple of Muay Thai fights as he continues to improve his skill sets as a fighter.
