Transgender Fighter Fallon Fox gets TKO’d by a REAL WOMAN

Having lived in Thailand I am probably more  familiar with people who have decided to live their live as a Transgender, meaning the opposite sex from which they were born than most people.  Thai culture a lot more accepting to the Gay/Lesbian/TG community than most places I’ve lived, traveled, or visited, In fact, Thailand has a famous transgender boxer named Nong Toom, which the movie ”beautiful boxer” was based on.

All that said, I don’t really think it is fair for a someone who has lived most of their life as a ‘man’ to compete against women.  While the argument was made by Fallon Fox’s management that she has the exact same hormone makeup as a female (due to taking medication)–>the truth of the matter is, she grew through puberty as a man and I don’t understand how that can’t be seen as an advantage.

Coming into the CFA Championship bout Fallon Fox was 3-0 as a professional MMA fighter, all against female opponents with two of those wins coming by way of 1st round TKO/KO.  Facing Ashlee Evans Smith from Orange Counties Subfighter competition team, Fallon Fox finally suffered the first loss as a pro by way of 3rd round KO.

What are your feelings about Transgender Athletes? Should athletes that were formally classified as a ‘man’ be allowed to compete against women? Does it matter what sport they play?
