Congratulations brotha!!!

Congratulations to 11-1 professional MMA fiighter Tommy Yang on his impressive showing at the Abu Dhabi World Pro Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Trials in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Competing as a three strip blue belt, Tommy Yang had an impressive afternoon, winning 7 matches to capture the all expense paid trip to the UAE, and an opportunity to compete for the title of  BJJ Blue Belt Professional World Champion.

During the trial, semifinalist of each weight division, were allowed to compete in the absolute (no weight limit) division.  After winning Gold in the under 83 KG division, Yang Seung Ho (Tommy Yang) continued his dominance with another Gold Medal in the absolute (securing his flight to Abu Dhabi)

Look for Tommy Yang to continue competing in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as he patiently waits for the One Fighting Championship to give him an opportunity to fight.  Having signed a contract with One FC last August, Tommy has been ‘in the freezer’ waiting to compete in MMA  the past 8 months as the promotion has been unable to utilize him on any of their first four events, hopefully this talented fighter will be back in the cage shortly!

Following his impressive performance in Kuala Lumpur, Professor Ray Elbe proudly put the fourth stripe on Tommy’s blue belt.
