Tiger Muay Thai welcome Langsongkram Chuwattana as a new fighter for the gym!!

…Kinda cool!!! Tiger Muay Thai will be welcoming Langsongkram Chuwattana to the Phuket training facilities early next week.  Currently the Rajadamnern Stadium Middleweight champion, he is a very large Thai who is being brought to the gym specifically to spar/clench with the larger foreigners we have training in the fighters ring.

As if having wins over Farid Villaume, Bruce Macfie, Kaoklai Kaennorsing, Yohan Lindon, and Rambo Panyatip wasn’t impressive enough on his resume, Longsongkram has over 300 fights, and less than 50 losses.

This guy is literally a living legend in the sport of Muay Thai.  A highlight of his career  includes;

  • 2010 WMC World Middleweight champion
  • 2007-2009 WBC World Middleweight champion
  • 2006 WBC Middleweight Interim World Title
  • 2005 Rajadamnern Stadium Middleweight champion
  • 2005 WMC/S1 Kings Cup Middleweight Tournament champion

*On a side note…I’m off to Patong tonight to watch  Nonthachai Sit-O  fight for Tiger Muay Thai at Bangla Stadium.  Nonthachai…is another ‘legend’ we have training at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket facility… besides being a 2x Thailand Muay Thai Champion…he also owns 2 career wins over Langsongkram. *BOOM*
