*This Wednesday* Professional MMA Fight LIVE in Phuket Thailand!

..WOOT…WOOT—The entire world is falling in love with the sport of ‘MMA’ =)

One of the local stadium promoters here in Phuket has started to take an interest in the sport of MMA…he has asked me several times to help matchmake a ‘mma’ fight for one of his Muay Thai events being promoted at Bangla Boxing Stadium.  The last fight was really exciting, and well received.  This Wednesday we’ll be looking to showcase another good fight when ‘Andrew AKA Frenchie’ takes on ‘Stephane AKA Goliath’ in a heavyweight battle.

The ‘Muay Thai’ headliner for the event will be Tiger Muay Thai’s own Cyrus Washington as he takes on aging Muay Thai legend Jomhod.  Cyrus recently picked up a win in China, and after the new year will be heading off with Don to South Africa before traveling to Amsterdam to focus on a more ‘K1’ style  of fighting/training.  Jomhod is a bit older now, but is considered an all time ‘top 10 great’ for the sport of Muay Thai and his experience is good enough to beat most foreigners on points.  This will be an exciting fight…Cyrus is going to have to look to use his strength/agility/athleticism and look to push the pace for the KO.
