Spent the night with a Terracotta Warrior…

Went out last night to check out some of the night life Singapore has to offer…ended up at the upscale restaurant IndoChine

They recently opened up a new location in Kamala Beach–Phuket, which Flickadoo treated me to during his last trip to Thailand, however this was the first time I had been to one of their other locations.

The Singapore IndoChine is located on the Singapore River and was voted one of Tatler’s best restaurants in 2004. The place offers world-class-fine-dining with authentic Indochinese cuisine.  The decor of the restaurant has a giant backdrop of a lotus flower-shaped Czecholovkian Crystal chandeliers, towering Sukothai Buddha statues, rare Shan antiques and custom-made stainless steel-and leather “Ming Dynasty-style chairs”.

Located throughout the place are replicas of the famous Terracotta Warriors.  Usually ending up at Orchard Towers for drinks—the change in pace was refreshing and a good opportunity to see a bit of the real Singapore.
