Today’s morning training was good. On the pads I did two rounds of boxing, one of Muay Thai. 3 rounds of bag work, and 30 minutes of clench sparring. Wanting another taste of the ass whoopin I got yesterday from Csanrit Sit Oh Gym…I kindly asked him if he cared if I video recorded the sparring. LOL—Let’s just say…he smiled…and seemed delighted to be showcased on my blog as beating me up… :)
Csanrit Sit Oh Gym is a 2x Rajadamnern Stadium Champion—which along with Lumpinee Stadium are the biggest promotions in Thailand when it comes to Muay Thai. He held the belts at the Juniorflyweight and Bantamweight divisions. Now retired from fighting Csanrit just recently returned from a coaching trip in the UK. He’s a bit older, and walks around at about 168lbs now that he is no longer fighting.
Following the Clench sparring we did some extra bag drills, situps and pushups. Finished training with a grilled chicken breast, steam veggie, brown rice plate for lunch. Gonna take a 2 hour nap and head back to the gym for more punishment at 3:30.
