Poor Adrian–who works in the TMT office has come down with a case of Dengue fever.

Dengue Fever occurs in the tropics, unlike Malaria however, it is just as prevalent in the urban districts as it is in the rural areas.  It is spread through mosquitoes.

Symptoms include a fever, muscle and joint pains—and often a rash occurs.

To prevent the spread of the disease, Tiger Muay Thai brought in a crew to fumigate the property–which will help prevent the spread.  Another lil’ tip is adding “Garlic Pills” into your supplement intake.  Mosquitoes can smell the garlic and stay away from the scent.

Currently there is no approved vaccine for the treatment of Dengue Fever—so it’s best to pay close attention to any illness symptoms you may be having, and to see a doctor if you feel the need.
