Well…Thailand is amazing…and we have some incredible holidays…like Songkran (think Spring Break for grown folks…), However…the typical ‘holidays’ from the states of Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas,…really don’t have the same ‘feeling’ here.

Thailand as a country is Buddhist…which means very few people understand Christ-mas.  The stores have caught onto the $$$ making opportunities, but most Thai people don’t do much in regards to Xmas day celebrations, and sadly it just feels like another day.  This year TMT is promoting the BBQ Beatdown…which will be a rowdy occasion….but I’m not gonna lie…Xmas dinner from Mcdonald’s doesn’t taste as good as good ol’ Mamma’s!
