Off to Hong Kong for Legends Fighting Championship
Just finished out my morning training session. 2 hours. 3×5 minutes of boxing against Jonny Betts—good working pace with a high punch count in each round. 3 rounds of pads, 2 of bag, and enough “other exercises” to start my own workout routine.
It was very hot today, but I managed to push through and do the best I could with all of the drills, towards the end I was beat. Got a few hours to pack and then it is off to Hong Kong to corner BJJ Black Belt Adam Kayoom for his MMA fight. Adam has spent the last 3 weeks away from his Bangkok Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy as he prepares for his Legend Fighting Championship bout. Wegih in’s are tomorrow–Adam fights Friday, and I should be back in Phuket in time for BBQ Beatdown :) The LFC has a cable television deal, and is one of the ‘promising’ upstart organizations recently appearing in Southeast Asia.
With all of the traveling, I’m not going to have time to get my Visa before the scheduled seminar in Mumbai India–that will be rescheduled for the week after my fight. (more details to come).
Packing my bags now–gonna get in two days of good long runs while in Hong Kong.
