No more messing around!!!

What a fun weekend on Phi Phi Island!  Myself, Sandra, Andrew, Jasper, Martin, and Jeremy met Amber and joined Kitty who was already on the island with friends for a weekend of debauchery.  Most of us met up Sat @ TMT around Noon—before heading to the boat docks and taking the three hour ferry to Phi Phi.  We did a lil’ tailgating (pre drinking) on the journey and were all ready to get checked into our hotels once we arrived.

Taking a long tail boat out we went to Maya bay and saw the sunset while doing a lil’ swimming in the tropics. Saturday night we bounced around to a few bars—and enjoyed the sites.  Some of us (Andrew)…enjoyed ourselves a lil’ too much :P

…I had to return Sunday afternoon—which was pretty much spent as a “recovery” day after the drinking and sunshine.  The rest of the group stayed until this morning.  I was glad to go back early though—my phone service messed up—which is part of the reason why I haven’t blogged much this weekend…and I’ve got a bunch of work to catch up with.

Taught two classes today—the 9am grappling class and the 4pm MMA training session—also welcomed BJJ Black Belts Mauricio Zingano and Fabio “Galeb” Fernandes into the academy.  Thursday at 4pm Professor Zingano is going to run a free Nogi grappling seminar for the students of TMT…should be a good way for the group to gear up for the Nov 18th Royce Gracie Seminar!
