My mom is alive!!!

Okay–Okay…maybe I was being a lil’ dramatic with the title of this blog entry—but…I hadn’t heard from her in awhile.

I COMPLETELY forgot that my mom, and father had a family trip planned to Tennessee–and then to their “second home” in Wisconsin.  With the advantages of “SKYPE” I try to give them a call once a week *or at the very least…once every other week*

Anyways–in between those phone calls we usually exchange several “chit-chat” emails updating one another on what is going on-on the other side of the world.  My mom is retired now—so in my mind…she has nothing to do but respond to my emails :)  *Kidding..lol*

I called to wish my dad a happy Father’s Day–and left a message.  I’ve been so busy though…I hadn’t had time to sit down and actually send a good email (…I’m sure you guys have noticed the lowered Blog updates the past few days)–Long story short, my mom must have been busy on her vacation as well—because I hadn’t received any emails from her either.

Yesterday however, she sent me a few emails  with pics from their lovely trip.  They went to Tennessee and visited my Uncle and celebrated his Birthday with friends/family.  Following the TN trip, they headed North to Wisconsin and enjoyed a lil’ more time with friends/family at their retirement home.  I’ve gotta admit I’m jealous I missed the trip.

Below is a pic my mom sent me that shows my Uncle Andy, Cousin Justin, Grandpa Elbe, and Justin’s lil’ boy (Who I’ve never met)…Gotta luv gramps rockin’ the “Tiger Muay Thai” shirt.  Only 8 more training days until I head to Singapore for my Superfight belt…I’ll have to send the family a pic of my  new belt when I win it :)
