Mean people everywhere

Well, most of this road trip with mom has been AMAZING.
We started our trip at the bottom of the California coast, and have driven along the scenic highway 1.

Last night however, after dinner in San Francisco (after just arriving) we walked out to the car to discover the rear passenger window smashed out, and my moms makeup bag (which was on the floor board under the passenger seat) stolen.

Luckily the thief didn’t realize our luggage was in the back of the car, however I can’t help but feel bad for my mom, losing her makeup kit, toothbrush, and deodorant–the toughest loss however is the actual travel bag, which was a gift from my late grandmother.

Today we are starting a fresh day however, and I’m excited for our tour of the city by the bay.
