Korean National Judo Team member and Pancrase Japan Vet. Il Gyu Park training @tigermuaythai

I was first introduced to Il Gyu Park a few years ago when I was fighting in Seoul Korea.  Fighting former Tiger Muay Thai fighter Bernueng Sakhomsin, Il Gyu Park was a member of the South Korean National Judo Team.

Submitting Bernueng by RNC, Il Gyu Park went on to lose a very controversial to Do Won Seo.

A veteran of the world renown ‘Pancrase’ fight promotion, Il Gyu Park is training at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket in preparation for his upcoming competition in the Thailand Open.

Il Gyu Park is a ‘big brother’ of sorts for BJJ Blue Belt Tommy Yang, and he is a great addition to the training group.
