Just learned all the rules for @IBJJF competitions!!!

Boy talk about a long day!!!

Beginning at 10am today a group of about 30 of us took an official BJJ training course under 4th Degree Black BJJ Belt and IBJJF-CBJJ referee director Alvaro Mansor.

Also in attendance were fellow BJJ black belts Carlos Farias, Jay Pages, Augusto “Tanquinho” Mendes, Gustavo Dantas, Steve Jensen, Luciana -and Megaton Dias…if I forgot to mention anyone I apologize…as there were several people I hadn’t met before today.

Finishing up around 5PM…we spent 6 hours reviewing all aspects or an IBJJF sanctioned competition.

Great day of studying…and I have to be honest when I say Several clarifications on rules were to my benefit.
