July 14th I become a Champion…fighting on ESPN
Motivation. People get it from different places. For me….the fact that I’m fighting for a Championship belt, in a promotion being broadcast on ESPN to over 310 million homes in 24 different countries is motivation enough.
July 14th I will be fighting India’s top MMA fighter Alan Fenandes. Alan is an Art Of War FC veteran and fought UK MMA legend Mark “The Beast” Epstein for the IKF World Muay Thai Championship belt in 2005. He has a professional MMA record of 11-2, and is looking to step into the International fight stage...
I WILL NOT BE USED AS A STEPPING STONE!!
That is going to be a sweet belt around my waist!!!
I ran into Alan “The Bull” Fenandes team at the last Martial Combat, and while they were friendly word got back to me that his camp was promising a “brutal Knockout”. **It’s not going to happen**
I’m training hard, working on my strength and conditioning with Randy Hale, and focusing on my Muay Thai with Kru Yod. We have a good group of guys training at the gym right now including; WEC vet Muhsin Corbbrey, Strikeforce Vet Joe Ray, Ian Bone, Wiktor Svennson, and the rest of the guys…they are all making sure I’m getting in quality rounds of sparring and grappling. This fight is going to be 5 rounds with each round being 5 minutes. I’ve never fought a 25 minute bout, but I am preparing to leave it all in the cage and will be ready for war July 14th. Those of you who are able to make it to the fight…I’ll appreciate the support…and am training to become a champion.
Lojak Fight Gear and Full Tilt Poker have financially supported this training camp–please take a couple of seconds to visit their website and support the companies who make it possible to prepare for a championship fight.
