It’s OFFICIAL! I’m now a FIRST DEGREE Brazilian Jiu Jitsu #BJJ Black Belt!

It’s hard to say exactly what my Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu really means…It is one of those blessings that truly changed my life.  The people I have met, the countries I have traveled to compete and teach in, the life experiences I have gained because of Martial Arts is truly a miracle.

All the blood, sweat, tears…as a student, competitor…and coach that I’ve shared with the Dojo have given me a life of fulfillment.  While the training has been difficult, even painful at times, through it all Jiu Jitsu has been there to serve as therapy for life.  I joke that if someone was to give me 1 million dollars and in exchange of that I had to erase every memory from my life that came about from BJJ—all those friends, all those travels, all those lessons…..I would chose the BJJ Black Belt every time!

Now that I’m getting older, I see the tool Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was in my life—and it motivates me to share that with others.  I’m currently in Orange County California, and strongly urge anyone interesed in trying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the first time to shoot me an email Magicalray@aol.com and we can get you on the path to Black Belt!
