It’s about to be a CAT FIGHT!!!

*BOOM*…Congratulations to Cat Zingano on her impressive win over Carina Damm. Cat came into the fight with a perfect 4-0 record.  A BJJ Purple belt under her husband Mauricio Zingano–she is seen as a highly regarded ‘prospect’.  Already capturing championship belts in two different weight classes for the Sven Bean promoted Ring Of Fire MMA event, headed into this fight with Damm as the #7 highest rated female fighting at 125lbs.

Carina Damm has been fighting a long time, and is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt.  Heading into the bout Carina had the more recognizable name, and was considered the ‘early favorite’ holding a World Ranking of #2 in the 125lbs female fight division.

Cat got in some work with Tiger Muay Thai before heading back to train at Zingano BJJ. Claire Haigh will be heading to Zingano BJJ later in December as she hopefully prepares for an upcoming bout in Colorado.
