It went down this weekend in Abu Dhabi! #ADWPJJC2015

Everyone was in Abu Dhabi this weekend.  The most stacked weekend of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the world took place this year at the World Pro Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Competition.  After regional tournaments took place all around the world, the winners of those brackets were flown to Abu Dhabi, in addition to their flight they were treated with accommodation and food, to compete on an International stage.

Following the 3 day event, it was clear that Brazil is still King when it comes to the Gi, with Brazil leading the medal count with 41, followed by the USA with 11, and then Canada bringing home 3.  With divisions for White-Black and Adult to Master 2, it was a stacked event.

Tons of highlights over the weekend, but I think the crowd favorite was Mackenzie Derm giving the legendary Gabbi Garcia her first loss as a BJJ Black Belt.  Dern won her division in the under 55kilo division, before facing Gabi in the absolute. For a complete list of results, check out the homies over at Arabs MMA, all my friends in Abu Dhabi this weekend, hope you had a great time enjoying the event, its amazing to see what H.H.
