If you don’t feel better about life after watching #Mcfarland then nothing will
Okay, truth be told, the last couple of days I just haven’t felt right. I dunno what it is exactly, maybe its just being under a bit of stress–but I’ve felt removed from people recently and kind of isolated despite being in Sunny California. Those who know me personally and not just on the blog, know that at times I can be an emotional person.
Today I thought I would do something to just kind of relax, breathe, and focus on my goals leading into my last couple of weeks in the USA before I head off to the Middle East again, sometimes it is nice just to focus on the variables in life you can control.
—So with that in mind—
I headed to Costa Mesa and Triangle Square to watch the newest Disney movie Mcfarland, USA. It is an amazing story about overcoming hardship and achieving things far greater than anyones expectations by committing to hard work! I don’t want to ruin the movie for those of you who haven’t seen it yet–but I would rate it as a must watch. The story is about a white coach who moves to the Hispanic farming communities of California with his wife and kids to start up a new Cross Country team, the movie is based on a true story. I left the movie with my batteries partially re-charged, like only a good Disney story can do, lol. Friends who check out the movie—Lemme know what you think!
