My pics for each of the divisions
65.9KG, Rafael Mendes–he is a 2x winner, however this division is stacked with Miyao, Ruben Charles, Baret Yoshida, and the other Mendes brother Augusto.
76.9KG, With 4x Tournament champion Marcelo Garcia not competing this year the competition is wide open. My pick is Kron Gracie, however Former UFC Champion Ben Henderson, One FC vet Andy Wang, Leo Viera, JT Torres, Lucas Lepri, ad Otavio Souza…this will be a tough division to win.
87.9 KG, No Galvao, No Jacare, No Brauilo Estima, but with Pablo Popovitch competing up a division, and Keenan Cornelius putting his name on the list, this division is still stacked. Rodgrio Caporal will also be included in this tournament this year, those of you who follow the blog know I lost to him last year during the finals of the Pan Asian games held in Manila. My pick for this division is David Avellan.
98.9KG, My pick is Dean Lister to defend his Championship. Dean won this division in 2011. Following the competition Dean Lister will be heading to Phuket Top Team to give a 2 day Nogi Grappling seminar, anyone in Thailand NEEDS TO CHECK THIS SEMINAR OUT!
99+, My pick is Vinny Magalhaes. Buchecha and Cyborg will be tough to beat as well.
And my pick for the absolute, Buchecha.
