How is it even possible…

To have a Championship fight end as a DRAW?– Sherdog asked me for my prediction for the fight a few days ago.  After asking all the pro’s their opinions…it was clear that it was going to be a close fight.  Too read how the pro’s thought the fight would go...click here.

After 5 rounds Two judges scored it 48-46, one for Maynard and another for Edgar. A third saw it a 47-47 deadlock.

Now Frankie Edgar is going to fight WEC Champion Pettis for the UFC belt.  Personally I’d like to see Maynard get another shot at the belt.  I heard he almost had Edgar out in round 1.  It’s just a shame to see Maynard 10-0-1 in the UFC with one of those 10 wins being Edgar–and the DRAW being Edgar.  Maynard deserves the title shot.
