Hanging out with the only man to beat Fedor…no big deal :)

Tough night of fights in Macau for the boys at TMT.  John Vargas, started his fight off fast–and got the initial takedown before being reversed and submitted by a RNC during a scramble back to his feet.  Ngoo faced Tiger Muay Thai alumni Irshaad Sayed of South Africa.  Ngoo started off well–getting the takedown, passing guard and establishing mount…going from a Triangle from mount he lost position allowing the fight to scramble back to the feet.  Once on the feet Irshaad capitalized with a crushing left hook/flying knee combination that dropped Ngoo to the floor.  Following him down with punches ref Thomas Fan was forced to stop the fight.

Ngoo’s professional record has dropped to 2-2.  We have both agree’d to take some time off from fighting…and are going to fine tune a few of his mistakes with some intensive training during practice.

Overall it was a decent event.  Couple of things didn’t go our way…and sometimes that is how the cookie crumbles.

*On another note*…I got to meet RINGS JAPAN Legend Tsuyoshi “TK” Kosaka today.

TK has fought so many legends of the sport–facing Mark Hunt, Mario Sperry, Mike Kyle, Fedor Emelianenko, Ricco Rodriquez, Babalu, Randy Couture, Antonio Nogueira, Travis Fulton, Gilbert Yvel, Bas Rutten,  Pete Williams, Kimo Leopoldo, Frank Shamrock, Maurice Smith, and Egan Inoue.  Kosaka is the only man currently holding a “Win” over Fedor–when the doctor stopped their bout 17 seconds into round 1 of their 2000 Rings bout due to a cut.  LOL =D
