Got my tixs for Macau China today…going to see the MMA promotion DEEP!!!

*WOOT WOOT*…I’m so excited for this upcoming weekend.  I’ll be heading off to Macau China to watch the Japanese MMA promotion ‘DEEP’ promote their first MMA event in China.  Macau is like the ‘Las Vegas’ of Asia—complete with it’s own MGM, Wynn, Venetian, and all the other ‘major’ hotel companies you find in ‘Sin City-USA’.—It’s a short fairy ride from Hong Kong—which I’ll prolly try to swing through and visit a couple of friends while I’m in China :)

Several of today’s MMA superstars launched their fighting careers within the DEEP organization, including current UFC Middleweight champion Anderson Silva, Japanese submission ace and current DREAM lightweight champion Shinya Aoki, the legendary Hayato “Mach” Sakurai, and former UFC champion Lyoto Machida…needles to say…I’m stoked to make the event–and am looking forward to networking with promoters/fighters/gyms all weekend.

The card is stacked.  Leg Lock Master—and one of my favorite fighters Masakazu Imanari (see highlight video) is fighting, along with DEEP Champions Yuya Shirai, and Ryuta Sakurai.  Add in Luiz Andrade, Rodrigo Caporal, Andy Wang, BJJ Superstar Marcos Souza, and my friend Yoann Gouaida…and there are going to be a lot of sweet fights!
