Gangaramaya Vihara Temple Colombo Sri Lanka

While in Sri Lanka I got an opportunity to check out the Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo.

This temple is one of the most important temples in Sri lanka.  A Buddhist temple it also has a very historic museum as part of its attractions.  At one time this temple was home to erudite scholars Ratmalana Sri Dharmarama Thero, Waskaduwa Sri Subhuti Thero, Weligama Sri Sumangala Thero, Welivitiye Dhammaratna Thero, and Pandit Batuwantudawe.
