Floyd Mayweather Vs. Saulo Canelo Alvarez #boxing #fight of the decade!?
Floyd “Money” Mayweather. We are talking 40 million dollars IN THE BANK before he event steps into the ring, is returning to action against Canelo Alvarez.
Both are undefeated. Canelo is 23 however and Maywether is pushing 36. Maywether knows the sweet science and has been known to pick and chose his fights, I’m still disappointed Pacquiao didn’t happen.
Being guaranteed 40 million before he ever laces his boots is motivation…but even the great Roy Jones Jr eventually started to slow a step inside the ring. Mayweather is still 2:1 favorite, however if you’re a fan of Mayweather you know that he’s picked his fights so carefully over the past few years that we haven’t seen pre fight odds this close in some time.
Canelo is a Mexican fighter. Growing up in Arizona, VIVA LA RAZA means he’s going to dig to the body and not be afraid to bang. Punch him and he will gladly punch you back and with 30 KO’s he’s has already proven that.
Mayweather knows the game and can outbox anyone in the world as he has proven. Will he be able to do it for 12 rounds as a 36 year old against a hard hitting 23 year old Oscar De La Hoya Superstar?!…I dunno. That is the question and after the first few rounds we should be able to answer.
Personally I am a fan of Mayweather, I love how he is a surgeon with his faints, distance, counters, and movement…the guy is legendary. I also love seeing passionate mexican fighters…especially if they don’t dress in drag and get stuck watching this show at rehab.
My prediction is Mayweather by decision…however in Saul Canelo Alvarez proves father time has finally caught up with Money Mayweather…I’ll enjoy seeing him pick his face off the canvas as he heads to Instagram to tweet a briefcase of money.
If you’re a fan of boxing check out my boy Barry Robinson’s A Million styles of Boxing lots of knowledge some of you MMA knuckleheads could learn from this guy.
So don’t be the guy who after the fight knew everything. Leave your prediction in the comment box below, it’s a tough enough fight to call that even if you don’t like boxing you can pick and then you have something to look forward to as you watch the fight…because this fight really does have the potential to be a classic shown on ESPN 20 years from now!!!
