First day of kicking…
I’ve been nursing a bit of an injury for the past couple of months…I think it is a partially torn meniscus and I’m trying to let it heal by utilizing rehab and limiting my training routine.
…Because of this, I’ve had a hard time preparing for the DEEP X event…and honestly haven’t been able to train full steam in a couple of months. The last couple of weeks I’ve focused on my boxing…however 2x Rajadamnern Champion Csanrit Sit Oh Gym wanting me to work in some kicks.
I love when he holds pads for me. We slow the pace down, and literally ‘play fight’ on the pads. It isn’t the most ‘cardio intense’ training session…but it gives me an opportunity to work my reaction speed and body coordination.
