Female BJJ Black Belt Caroline De Lazzer stops by the gym!~

Talk about a packed house at Tiger Muay Thai with the addition of female World Champion Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt Caroline De Lazzer…the gym now has 6 BJJ Black Belt training at the facility  including Oscar Jr, Wanderlia Filho, Marcos Olivera, and myself.  Most of the guys are working on their striking, but they have all shown techniques to the guest of the gym…and have/will be doing a seminar while they are here.  Oscar Jr. will be doing his Friday at 4pm…everyone from the gym is welcome to attend.

It’s very cool having a top level female grappler at the gym.  We just had Cat Zingano as she prepared for her upset victory against Carina Damm…and now we have Caroline at the gym.  During the 2010 Mundials Caroline lost to Hillary Williams via judges decision in the finals.  Her husband Marcos Olivera is preparing for the finals of the Abu Dhabi Fighting Championships heavyweight tournament.  Marcos is also a BJJ Black Belt of the Emirate Abu Dhabi Combat Club.
