MMA is BLOWING UP in the Middle East!  It is a huge sport all over the world, however in the Middle East, Mixed Martial Arts is really starting to get the acceptance of the mainstream media.

The very first MMA promotion to give Arab talent an opportunity to show the world that they can compete in Combat Sports was ADFC .

Besides being the first professional Arab MMA organization,  The Abu Dhabi Fighting Championship was the first promotion to bring TOP INTERNATIONAL TALENT into the region. Top fighters such as former UFC Champion contender Jeff Monson, Pride Star Rameau Sokoudjou, UFC fighter Dave Herman, One FC vet Felipe Enomoto, Bellator tournament fighter Vaughn Anderson and Russian Superstar Shamil Abdurahimov have all competed under the ADFC banner.

Helping build the sport, and give a platform for young Arab prospects to develop their talent, ADFC promoted Al Batal, which was a reality TV Show, similar to design as the Ultimate Fighter.  Boasting a huge FX International deal the show was a success with ratings, and it is rumored to be coming back for a second season later this spring.
