Ever have a nieghbor like this!?

I gotta admit that I enjoy having my good friend Drew in Thailand from the states…He lives in the bungalow next time mine…lol…at times it feels like I’m back in College.  I first introduced him to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu back in 2005– and he took to it instantly…he’s now a BJJ Brown Belt under World Champion Giva Santana of the Lotus Club BJJ team.

Last night he had his second Amateur MMA fight…his first one in 4.5 years!  Drewsaki won in the 2nd round against a very tough Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue belt, who just came to Thailand after a BJJ training camp in Brazil.  The fight was exciting—and was one of the candidates for Fight Of The Night at the BBQ Beatdown.  Halfway through the second round Drew captured the armbar after displaying good composure throughout an aggressive GNP attack from his Swedish opponent. Feeling a lil’ sore…and super hungry this morning…Drew came over this morning to invite Kitty and myself to Oishi for some all you can eat Japanese food.  *Delicious*…
