Day 3 getting it @phukettopteam
Boom! Day three in the books!
Started my day with a 7AM Muay Thai class…that actually started at 7:30…lol.
Arriving a bit early to training I grabbed a few extra rounds of bagwork until the trainers showed up.
Class started with a similar warmup, today however I only had to do 15 mins of skipping rope, which was a good thing as my calves were burning from my first jump rope session,lol
Following 15 mins skipping rope, we did a varied 15 min jog, before jumping into pads. 4 rounds of 5 mins, with 20 push-ups everytime the class round ended.
Following the pads, I jumped back on the bag for 3 rounds before the trainers had us conduct a low kick drill. Ending training with 200 teeps, 200 knees to the bag, and 1200 abs, I was glad to survive.
Following practice I dropped by to see Monica at Green Leaf in Rawai before seeing Noah at Lion MT.
Evening session I attended British K1 champion, UFC Vet James Mcsweeny striking for mma class. Was a great class, with some cool techniques shared. 20-25+ students in the class, but lots of drilling and repetitions while coach James walked around correcting students techniques.
Was a great class, full of UFC, One FC fighters and prospects. Tomorrow at 9am is the Nogi BJJ class…meaning need to get my rest in!
