Cops responding to the scene of a murder in Tustin CA

Okay, so while the United States is kinda known for Guns, and California would be considered the Wild Wild West…very rarely do we actually see Police with open carry assault weapons.

The other day I was leaving the OC Fight Docs after having a physiotherapy session on my knee.  Heading towards Total MMA Studios in Tustin, I noticed what was literally a SWARM of cop cars stopping traffic.  One of the officers actually carried an assault riffle as he went through the parking lot, looking for an obvious suspect.

Unsure what the commotion was about, I quickly speeded off—only to see the article on the OC Boxing and MMA Owner who was shot killed earlier, and it was then that I realized the police on the scene were actually responding to this.
