*Congrats* Eli Monge on your new BJJ Black Belt #GUAM #BJJ SON!

Today was the first time as a ‘Black Belt’ I watched another individual be given the rank of ‘professor’…gotta admit it was a memorable experience.

With BJJ Brown Belt JJ Ambrose, I showed up at the Spike 22 Academy in Guam to watch Renato ‘Charuto’ Verissimo promote a seminar and to give his 18th black belt, when he awarded Eli Monge the rank.

Also in attendance were other Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belts, Big John Calvo, Joey Calvo, Mike Ulloa, and Mike Odonell.
