Close but no cigar

Okay, coulda, woulda, shoulda, but atleast I’m back to playing and that is really what matters.

Drove out to Costa Mesa California yesterday to compete in the 2014 RevGear International Open.   Competing in the LightHeavyweight Elite Masters division, I lost to fellow BTT grappler Jaysen Baxter 2-0 in the brackets finals.  I felt good, really just made a small mistake giving up an early sweep, and then took a minute to really settle into my game.  I ended up losing the match as time expired with me working a very good Omoplata attempt.

Gonna go check out the Jeff Glover Sunday Rollout event today, and hopefully I can sneak in a super fight if possible :)
