Brown to Black *Congrats*

Congratulations to Bao Quach, Mo Kayat, and Evan Cathey, who along with Tim Peterson earned their Black Belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under 3rd degree black belt and World Champion Giva Santana of the Team Oyama and Lotus Club competition team.

Mo and Bao are two grapplers who have had a huge impact on my own game.  They were instructors, mentors, and training partners while I was at the No Limits facility and have been LONG OVERDUE the promotions.  Both of them are perfect examples of what you picture a ‘martial artist’ to be about…and they are exactly who you would want ‘representing you’ as an instructor.  Bao was suppose to stop by TMT earlier this year when he was in Vietnam…hopefully he’ll swing by during his Southeast Asia visit next year.

…I’m trying to convince Hollywood Mo to make it out too ;)
