Brazilian Top Team and @tigermuaythai officially join forces #BOOM @brtopteam

Legendary…that’s the word you would use to describe Brazilian Top Team.

Founded in 2000 by former Carlson Gracie team members Murilo Bustamante, Ricardo Liborio, Mario Sperry, and Luis Roberto Duarte– BTT was able to build a legacy that forever changed the face of Mixed Martial Arts.

Competing in PRIDE FC, the Brazilian Top Team Vs. Chute Boxe rivalry was legendary.  With Hall Of Fame fighters such as; Ricardo Arona, Murlio Bustamante, Allan Goes, Vitor Belfort, Mario Sperry, Paulo Filho and the  Nogueira brothers…BTT was one of the first dominate fight teams in the history of MMA.

A new crop of fighters are being developed by BTT–including Rousimar Palhares (currently 5-2 in the UFC)…Looking to continue expanding the Brazilian Top Team reputation, BTT and Tiger Muay Thai have joined forces—to provide Southeast Asia with quality MMA/BJJ/and Muay Thai training.

–Having received my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Juliano Prado–who is currently an instructor  at the Brazilian Top Team location in Orange county California…it is a special moment for me—as my belt…will finally match my instructors lineage.  Prado, who was formerly with the Lotus Club competition team–promoted me to Blue–Purple–Brown–and eventually Black Belt.

I look forward  to this exciting new chapter with Tiger Muay Thai joining forces with one of the most legendary fight teams in the history of Mixed Martial Arts…TMT and BTT…truly pioneering Combat Sports in Southeast Asia :)
