#boom @jasonsaggo signs with @ufc

Huge congratulations to Jason Saggo on his contract with the UFC. In 2007 when I first started teaching at Tiger Muay Thai…Jason was one of the first fighters to come train that had serious talent.
Then a BJJ Blue Belt, Saggo competed as part of my team for the Pan Asian grappling games winning both his Gi and Nogi division.

Following his grappling performances he went on to win the first ever BBQ Beatdown 4 man tournament- an amateur event I started promoting in Phuket. Competing in Muay Thai while in Thailand, Saggo eventually went to Brazil to train BJJ–before eventually turning pro in MMA.

A complete fighter “Bob Saget” is going to be a star in the UFC. Good looking and well spoken on camera, his fighting skills are just one part of this kids star power!

I’m very proud to see him fulfill his long term goal of making it to the UFC and look forward to seeing his debut June 14th at UFC 174 in Vancouver!
