*BOOM*…first round victory :)

Just got back from the fights—off to buy my  team a few celebration beers.  Claire is asleep in her hotel room…she’s fighting tomorrow.

Beat Pride FC and K-1 Journeyman Shannon “The Cannon” Ritch tonight via triangle choke in the first.  This was a rematch from a fight that I lost via Heel Hook submission over 6 years ago.  At the time, I had just turned 21 and wasn’t taking my career seriously–I was a BJJ Blue Belt and going to college…fighting part time.

With this win…I’ve now won 8 out of my last 10 fights…with my last “official” loss coming in 2006 to WEC Vet Erik Apple.

Glad to display the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt skills tonight.  Next weekend—I’m in Mumbai India doing a MMA/Nogi Seminar…
