#BJJ score was 51-0…and then he got submitted!!

Crazy, we’ve all seen running up the score…lol…but it rarely happens in BJJ to this extent, especially in the black belt division.  I’m sure everyone remembers Galvao smashing some guy in the mundials a few years ago for attempting a footlock against him, however this is a legit example of the difference between a world class black belt, and simply ‘a black belt’.

I’m not sure who Gui Mendes was competing against, however this bout took place during the Rickson Cup in Japan, and after running up the score to 51-0 he finally submitted him with an armbar with about 2 minutes left on the clock.

Hectic.
