BJJ Brown Belt Rafael Lopes *RETURNS* to @tigermuaythai

BOOM…Kinda nice seeing Rafael back at the gym today, training with the Advanced Muay Thai group.

Rafael first came to Tiger Muay Thai as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt…fresh of the plane from Brazil, he had a ton of personal goals that he was looking to accomplish, and quickly started training and competing to achieve them.

Following a promotion to BJJ Brown Belt under team Kezen of Brazil, Lopes began teaching some classes at Tiger Muay Thai before leaving the gym for a teaching opportunity at another academy in Phuket.

Winding roads as life does…Rafael has decided Tiger Muay Thai is a better fit for him, as he looks to stop teaching BJJ and continue progressing as a professional MMA/Muay Thai fighter.

Currently a PK-1 Superfight Champion at Bangla Stadium, Rafael has trained at several gyms in Thailand on his way to an 8-2 professional Muay Thai record.

Having already fought MMA for Tiger Muay Thai once before, expect him to continue evolving as a fighter as he looks to add to his impressive BJJ Resume which includes being a 3 x State BJJ Champion, 2 x Regional Bjj Champion and 3 x Multi Regional Bjj Champion.
