BJJ Black Belt Mauricio Zingano named MMA Coach of the Year for Coloardo–Wife CAT gets Female Fighter of the Year!!

Congratulations to Caique BJJ Black Belt Mauricio Zingano on recently being awarded ‘Coach of the Year’ for the MMA heavy state of Colorado by the Around The Octagon website. Mauricio runs the Zingano Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy and has several students who have been making a name for themselves within the sport of MMA and Grappling.

One of those students is fellow Tiger Muay Thai alumni and wife Cat Zingano. Cat is currently ranked top 5 in the world for females competing at 125lbs, after an impressive TKO performance against Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and former world #2 fighter Carina Damm.

Mauricio and Cat will be returning to Tiger Muay Thai in 2011, but have extended a friendly invitation to any of the Tiger Muay Thai alumni traveling through the states to check out their gyms in Colorado.
