Big seminar yesterday @totalmmastudios @murilobusta @brtopteam

Yesterday was a big day for everyone at Total MMA Studios as UFC Champion and Brazilian Top Team founder Murilo Bustamante hosted both a Gi and NOGI seminar at BTT Orange County.  Mastre Bustamante showed several options during the Nogi grappling that work perfect for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, regardless if you are training to lose weight, learn self defense, or to compete in either Submission Grappling or MMA.

Earlier in the Day, long time friend, and UFC Veteran Dave ‘The Chin’ Roberts was promoted to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt.  Professor Roberts is currently teaching in Tennessee, and made the return trip to Cali specifically for the seminar.  It was nice to catch up with fellow BJJ Black Belt Hector Carillo, who recently moved back to Cali–and to finally meet Omar Sabah who trains out of the BTT Long Beach location, and has been on a terror competing in the Master’s Division the past two years.

As always, I’m enjoying my time in Socal, training with top talent, and it was a great afternoon seeing Master Juliano Prado and Adriano Nasal, as the entire Total MMA Studios family hosted a BBQ following Murilo’s seminar!
