Argh…I’m such a freaking idiot!!!!

***Okay…anyone who clicks ‘like’ on this one—is Definitely getting deleted from the friends list :P

My neighbor Drew Jitsu just went on his final visa run last week,  for his 5 month stay in Thailand.  He’s going to be going home to Arizona USA on the 14th of March :(

I dunno why I thought I needed to do a Visa run ‘AFTER’ him…but because I was not paying attention to my ‘departure date’—I overstayed my Visa by 7 days.

The Thai Immigration allows you to stay for 30 days with a visa on arrival anytime you arrive in the country from an airport.–I got 30 days when I flew to Macau for the Copa De Macau grappling tournament…

Everyday you stay in the Kingdom past your visa allowance is a 500THB fine…So my lack of paying attention cost me almost 150USD today…and if I would have just stayed until I go to Syndey next weekend for the UFC Event—the fine would have been nearly 3x’s that!!!

*GRRR*

…Anyways…I had to hope on a 12 passenger van—spend 13 hours to get myself to and from Burma—and the worst part….Anytime you enter Thailand by land—without a visa from a neighboring  embassy….you only get 15 days.

***On the bright side…next weekend I’ll be in Sydney to watch 3 Tiger Muay Thai Alumni fighters compete on the UFC event (Brian Ebersole, Jamie Te Huna, and Jon Fitch)…and when I return…a new 30 days!!!***
