a water flood in Kuwait?!

The flood is coming!!!

Today I was awaken when a large bang echoed through the house.  Stumbling into the Kitchen I noticed all of the bottled water I store on top of the fridge had fallen on the ground.  The boxes they are stored in were soaked with water and deteriorated to the point that they were no longer capable of storing the water.

While I originally thought broken bottled water was the reason for the flood, I quickly noticed the water heater over the top of the fridge was leaking.

With about 3” worth of water pooling in my kitchen, I was forced to get the maid and maintenance man!  To my delight, they stopped everything they were doing and headed to my apartment to fix the problem.  3-4 hours later I had a repaired water heater and a sparking kitchen floor!
