A good ol’ fashion rub down and a few movies…
Not sure why, but my back has been a lil’ tight since my fight (even though the fight was only about 2 mins)–I headed out to Kata this evening after MMA training to get a massage from Twins Massage. I one hour Thai massage cost me 200 THB, which is a little less than 6$. The lady who worked on me spent some extra time working on my lower back, using some Tiger Balm to help promote blood flow to the muscles. I feel a bit better after the work.
Following the massage I stopped off at my favorite DVD shop and bought a few new movies. Picked up the new A-team movie starring UFC fighter Rampage Jackson.
Also picked up the “Bra Boys” documentary. We’ve had Reni Matuia and a few of the other boys through Tiger Muay Thai–so I’ve been interested in watching this movie for awhile. The movie is narrated by Russell Crow and focuses on the lives of several of Australia’s most famous professional surfers.
Rounding out the movies purchased today, I picked up “The Bounty Hunter” with Jennifer Aniston and a movie called “Solomon Kane”, which is suppose to be based on a true story. Together the 4 DVD’s cost me 10$.
