3rd degree BJJ Black Belt Rodrigo Antunes shows some techniques…

Thanx again to Evolve Singapore martial Arts head Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor Rafael “Gordinho” Correa De Lima for introducing me to Rodrigo Antunes during the last Martial Combat event.

Rodrigo stopped by Tiger Muay Thai this week, and was kind enough to show a few techniques for the beginner morning grappling class today.  A third degree BJJ Black Belt under Brazilian Top Team, he has had the rank of Black Belt for over 11 years!

Training since he was 8 years old Rodrigo is now 34 and a multiple time Brazilian World Champion who  still competes, winning the Europeans as recently as 2006. Traveling the world teaching BJJ he has been to over 50 different countries, and is one of the organizers of the yearly BTT Summer Camps held in Brazil.  The class enjoyed his techniques and we look forward to the next time he makes it out to Southeast Asia =)
